LuLaRoe Tracy Vazquez
What year did you launch your business?
2016
What has been a highlight during the time you’ve run your business?
Growing in confidence as a woman and as a business owner. I have also been able to tap into so much more creativity that I didn’t know I had. I love being able to inspire other women and help them to achieve their goals and dreams.
What has been a lowlight and how did you bounce back?
It’s hard to not take rejection personally. I have learned that no just means not right now. I have also learned that when I struggle is when I have to put forth a little extra hustle. It’s made me a better person and a better business woman. One failure does not define me, in fact I’m grateful to learn from those times.
What do you tell yourself that keeps you motivated?
I truly put my trust in God and know that I am where he wants me to be. I also believe that success is not a straight line. I think in many ways my journey to where I am now began 10 years ago. I also think that great things take time, Rome wasn’t built in a day and a successful brand is never an overnight success.
What would you say is one thing you do that refreshes you?
I need to spend time with my other LuLa girls. There is a great group of women whom I have connected with that really support and encourage me.
What do you want readers to gain from following you on social media?
I want to inspire them to be who God created them to be. I think we are all on a different path in life and I think that’s what makes it beautiful. I don’t think that my story has to be exactly the same as someone else’s in order to be beautiful. I also hope they gain confidence in their own bodies.
What lessons have you learned through running your business and pursuing your dreams?
Don’t take success or failure too personally. That great things take time. That your dreams are within reach and sometimes the scariest step is the first one.
What is your favorite lipstick color?
I’ve been really into Lipsense and my favorite color of theirs is Hazelnut.
Do you prefer coffee or tea?
Coffee, all the coffee.
Finish this sentence: “Be the woman….”
God created you to be.
