5 Ways to Write Your New Years Resolutions

Hello Love!

Surprise!!! I’m back, bright eyed and busy tailed.

I know, I know! I thought I’d be back blogging in Feb. But it turns out I’ve caught up with so much work! WoooHoo! So excited ♥

First of all, I just want to say that it’s great to complete resolutions and all and to have something to reach, but sometimes things don’t go according to plan and that’s not a bad thing.

So if you have trouble or had trouble completing Resolutions, no worries Love, Resolutions are just the topping of a delicious cake or pizza, which ever you’d prefer. 🙂

Although delicious, there are other ingredients that go into completing a slice of your life. So it’s not exactly about completing the Resolution itself, but how you reflect and how you can impact your life for the better.

You know what they say if you don’t plan you plan to fail. I didn’t say it. ^_^

So just in-case you didn’t drink the coolaid, let me offer you some insight from Wikipedia on what exactly is a New Year’s Resolution?

A New Year’s resolution is a secular tradition, most common in the Western Hemisphere but also found in the Eastern Hemisphere, in which a person makes a promise to do an act of self-improvement or something slightly nice, such as opening doors for people beginning from New Year’s Day.[1]

Without further adieu…

On your year. This is a biggy and one that should be the foundation of your Resolutions Writing. What are your resentments, awesome moments, regrets, opportunities or missed opportunities where you could of “done better” and where have you done better and give yourself a pat on the back for your Awesomeness! So, no worries Love! The New Year could and is your YEAR to amend some of the negativity you may have faced this year and perhaps continue to increase the positive. This in no way obliterates the past, but it does impact the future in a positive way.

Write it out, You know all the positive things you can change Now! Such as, staying positive no matter what happens. Not worrying, spending more time with God. Being in the present Now moment. Eating healthier. Just to name a few. Which ever area in your life that you believe you can change for the positive, take action & write it down.

The negativity of what you think can go wrong or will go wrong with more of a positive out look. Resolutions are all about starting the New Year with the right mindset and being mindful on how you take each day. As the saying goes, Take it one day at a time. In this case, take it a year at a time. How would you like to feel at the end of this New Year that’s coming up? Fulfilled, happy about a year well spent?
