Hello Love,
Today let us take a look at Saul’s story.
Before Saul became king Israel had no king, so one day the people of Israel asked for a king to govern over them. They asked to be like the other nations around them, who had kings.
Samuel then anointed Saul.
Although this wasn’t ideal in God’s sight, God had given them what they had requested.
Then the time came that the instructions God had given Saul were disregarded. Instead of being fearful of God, he was fearful of people.
“You have done a foolish thing,” Samuel said. “You have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time. But now your kingdom will not endure; the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him ruler of his people, because you have not kept the Lord’s command.”
Having a humble heart is not about thinking of yourself lowly or less than, but by being obedient to God.
Being humble isn’t a thought but an action.
An action towards your reaction to God.
Are you aware of ‘the God moments’ or are you only cognizant of your own ordeals?
Do you see Him in your life or are you only seeing what’s in front of you?
Are you doing things for people or for God?
Being proud is a matter of the heart and thinking of yourself too highly in front of the eyes of people.
And when you do that Love, that’s when the fear of what people may say or think governs your every move instead of the knowledge of who you are in Christ, and that is where God humbles us.
He lets us know, it is not people or things that govern or dictate who we are as people, but by the humility we display in who we are in Christ.
Which leads us to compassion, love and a serving spirit.

I want you to start questioning the intentions of your decisions.
The intentions of your heart and the real reasons you are doing or not doing your passions.
Sometimes we don’t find the answers from the outside but from within.
But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:
“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” James 4:6
