Hello Love,
In Daniel chapter 3 there’s an incredible story about facing the inevitable. Of facing what looks like certain death, but God!
A king called Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold in which he proclaimed that as soon as the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe and all kinds of music, the people must fall down and worship the image of gold that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. The consequence to whoever did not fall down and worship would immediately be thrown into a blazing furnace.
Here we see the setup. As people we have to make a decision on what it is we stand for.
What do you stand for?
Then Nebuchadnezzar was told of 3 men who did not bow down or worshiped the image of gold this made Nebuchadnezzar furious with rage, he summoned these 3 men and mocked them.
Surprisingly these 3 had incredible faith even in front of such a circumstance and responded…
“King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.” Daniel 3:16-18
Because of their response and total disregard to Nebuchadnezzar, he ordered the furnace to be heated up 7 times hotter than usual, had soldiers tie them up and throw them into the furnace!
How many times has negativity try to bind you? How many times will you allow the heat of situations to paint the picture of your reality?
Step into the reality that God has for you and the future that awaits you.
“The king’s command was so urgent and the furnace so hot that the flames of the fire killed the soldiers who took up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.” Daniel 3:22
Sometimes God allows the fire into our lives, to burn away the bondage that is holding us back from falling into His grace.
Then as these 3 men were walking through the impossible, unscathed, unmarked and unbind-ed Nebuchadnezzer than realizes that these 3 men were not alone, that GOD was there with them, through the fire.
