Hello Love,

Today we’re journeying onward to the story of Joseph.

Joseph was adored by his father but envied by his brothers due to the favor he had from their father.

He was given a coat of many colors, including a dream from God noting that one day God will place him high. Joseph told his brothers of this dream.

His brother didn’t like that and plotted to get rid of Joseph. They later devised a plan, faked his death to their father and sold Joseph into slavery.

Be careful who you tell your dreams to.

Joseph then worked for a government official called Potiphar.

“The Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master. When his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord gave him success in everything he did, Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned.” Genesis 39:2-4

How many of you know that God will not only bless you on your journey, despite your circumstances but God will bless those around you.

Do things with excellence and work as though you are working for the Lord.

Joseph was not only a man of God but he was a man of integrity and excellence.

One day Potiphar’s wife tried to tempt Joseph.

“Now Joseph was well-built and handsome, and after a while his master’s wife took notice of Joseph and said, ‘Come to bed with me!’ But he refused. ‘With me in charge,’ he told her, ‘my master does not concern himself with anything in the house; everything he owns he has entrusted to my care. No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?’ And though she spoke to Joseph day after day, he refused to go to bed with her or even be with her.” Genesis 39:6-10
