For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. Hebrews 12:6
I’m so excited about sharing with you all this project, in the beginning…
Read Perseverance I
…I never thought I’d get to this point. The point that every lofty thing, everything I depended on outside of God, outside of Jesus was cast down and thrown to the fire, or at least that’s how it felt. But God, oh how He gives us the grace to enter into His presence.
Hello Love,
I’ve been humbled.
Not good for the ego mind you. I really thought that I’d have a certain amount of accomplishments under my belt by now. That, no longer will I be subject to strongholds, barriers or certain limitations I was facing and confronting. That you know, the thought of being to that next level would be here.
Where I am I right now?
Before I get into that…I first want to say that this…project is still in the making and the reveal will soon be here in it’s entirety, it’s becoming an amazing series. One I’m thankful of diving into.
This project has really challenged me in the most amazing ways that if it wasn’t for the un doubt-able knowledge that GOD is with me I….probably would of given up a long time ago.
But God!
Isn’t that like God? To challenge us, move us and make us uncomfortable in order for us to develop roots inside of us.
Every piece was a labor of love, every stitch a completion, an accomplishment and an honor.
Sometimes Love, when we look at what needs getting done or what needs accomplishing it can hold us back and stop us from completing something so unique and special that if we move past the fear past the timidity we’ll understand the power that’s nestled deep inside of us.
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7
And although, this is not the place I thought I’d be. It’s the place I need to be. The “I’m under construction” or “In the making” moment.
I transparently reveal this certain humbling… because…
I KNOW.
I know I’m meant to be right here. Just like you’re meant to be right where you’re at. Even if you don’t know it, even if it doesn’t make sense….oh you’re meant to be here right now. Reading. I know it with all my heart.
This is a place where anything can happen.
I believe one of the saddest thing we can do with our life, is to go on through life without God, without Purpose. Then, as our lives pass us by and by through the changing seasons of time, looking back on unfulfilled accomplishments, potential that wasn’t realized and seeped in with regret because we allowed fear to hold us back, what would you do then? When it’s to late?
My mom would say during moments of hardships that life is trying to teach us a lesson.
Mom, you totally rock, I love you. I would agree and would add that I believe moments that we find difficult are moments that GOD is trying to shelter or strengthen us.
I can give you countless examples of this in the bible but I’ll give you one.
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil Matthew 4:1
When Jesus walked on in faith, He was led to a hard place in order to fulfill His purpose. I also see this as a moment where God was working something within Him, and a glimpse in the past, of how God shows us that these hard moments are sometimes necessary and used for good.
It’s a time where God allows you to bloom into who you’re meant to be. It may not make sense, but these times are the times where we need to dig our heels in and praise Him for the unseen, the unknown and the LOVE He most definitely has for us.
Nothing is a surprise to God, now a days people like the word “universe” God is God, Creator of the Universe. Remember that.
Now, let’s take a minute to reflect. Why are you where you are?
What may God be trying to show you? Because Love, this preparation is prepping you for greater more AMAZING things.
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Revelation 1:18
Regardless of my most recent humbling…
I’m still thriving. I’m still full of hope, vigilance and LIFE!
“Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41
I’m grateful in the midst of it. You should be too. Trust the process.
I’ve been humbled in a way that has given me great revelation, insight and encouragement. I pray that you start looking at each moment to shine your light even in the most darkest of situations and know, KNOW Love with all your heart that your LIGHT matters and makes a difference.
xoxo,
