Hello Love!

I’m so excited for you to read this post! First of all I have to apologize, as I was trying to post this first thing in the morning but with Baby Adri having a cold (guys having kids is truly like your hearts walking around with arms and little cutie pie legs). But I did post today so that’s a big win! Yay!

Love, do you know how amazing, crazy and awesome that is! It was such a pleasure to partake in such a festive event! I’m so grateful that Carmela & Jeff gave me an amazing opportunity to shoot her big day! Jeff and Carmela were amazing! If ever I could pick a client experience it would be these two hands down. They are filled with so much Love & Grace.

Since it was my first wedding, I was both confident yet I did feel the pressure. I wondered if I would get the lighting right, get the perfect shot or actually do a good job. While I was taking their photos, setting up my light I also wondered what God was up to. I’ve learned throughout my years that God is always showering us with His Goodness.

In proverbs 18:22 it says…

He who finds a wife finds a good thing,
And obtains favor from the Lord.

proverbs 18:22

I also think the same for finding a husband after God’s heart. When I met these two their love for God was evident and I was grateful to be part of their big day at their church. Everyone and their mama loved and poured so much love over these two, I mean for real some people’s mama’s were there. I was soooo impressed by Carmela’s composure she was elegant and faced each set back as there were some, with such grace.

Sometimes God places us in new situations, with new opportunities. With also new ways to come up with amazing solutions to whatever we may face. That’s how it was with Carmela’s and Jeff’s wedding. It was something new for both of us, but also exciting and something that would change how we approach life in general. As it was a new beginning.

As Carmela and Jeff move forward, I hope they know just how loved they are by God and to know that I saw God in every detail, in every smile and the few tears that I saw. God knows the Plans He has for you my friends…

Remember with every setback it is always a setup and opportunity to do something amazing, and that piece of amazing doesn’t have to be large or extravagant it can be as simple as lending a hand, a simple smile or grace to someone who needs it.

Sometimes, we have to have the courage to just take the leap… As baby Adri is soundly a sleep with a slight cough that aches my heart, although this post is no where near perfect, I am still going to take the leap and courage to hit publish. See you all next week! I hope!
