Hello Loves,

I for one had an amazing Memorial day weekend! It was so refreshing going out with my family and showing Emanuel the beach for the first time. We first stopped by the Farmers Market, which we’ve (the hubby and I) have agreed on eating healthier and being fit. So we are becoming more conscious of what we ingest.

It’s been a little over 9 days since I’ve started my training with FITBUMP and DAILY BURN and It’s kicking my batoot! I am still incredibly soar and since we live on a second floor apartment….staying home has been more appealing.

Sometimes things get worse before they get better!

The hubby still eats meat, while this is officially week 1 of my vegetarian ways and I am not missing meat AT ALL! My diet this week has been (I tend to stay way from pre-packaged, the microwave or canned! I try to source locally and organic as possible)

  • Squash
  • Spinach
  • Potatoes
  • Peas
  • Broccoli
  • Rice
  • Beans
  • Mangos
  • Green apples
  • Walnuts
  • Organic Tofu
  • Tangerines
  • Beets
  • Avocados
  • Asparagus
  • Spices

I’ve committed myself to not look at the scale (although tempting) until my 28 days of TBT (from daily burn) are complete!

I can’t believe it’s been 8 months, 8 months since he’s been out and about and we are enjoying every minute of him!

I’m the photographer of the family, I’m sure every family has one and I’m the one everyone always gets mad at for having a camera in my face haha, but then everyone thanks you for taking the pictures. So it’s always worth it. Of course I always have my moments where I unplug and detach myself from technology and just enjoy the moment.

One of my favorite things to do is just absorb everything. I’m being more mindful of my surroundings and I try my best to do “night recall” Where you just go over the whole day in your mind. I want to have a sharp mind as I get older and I truly just want to hold on to each day, they go by so fast.

This moment in my life are the best I have ever received. I thank God for where I’m at and today.
