Day 2: God always Provides!

Hello Loves,

Today we’ll be digging deep in the den of lions.

The story of Daniel is one of obedience & trust. We can also see in this story that God may not have provided Daniel with what he wanted, but God provided him for exactly what he needed to save his life and show the power of the God He serves.

Daniel worked in a high position in his day (for the King) and had been given favor. Although the king favored Daniel there were those that did not and set on their way to trap Daniel. Daniel would pray to God 3 times a day and one day this was challenged.

Those who did not favor Daniel tricked the king into making a decree that would throw anyone (other than the king) who prays to any god or human to be thrown into the lions’ den. Daniel was a man of habit and before this law he would faithfully pray to God 3x a day. Now knowing of this law that was placed, Daniel still remained obedient and prayed as he always did. Those that set this trap up told the king and although the king tried to save Daniel, the law couldn’t be changed so Daniel was cast into the Lions Den.

Although Daniel was facing something that seemed impossible he trusted in God.

The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.” Daniel 6:23

Are you following the call despite the circumstances that are in front of you? Are you reaching and pursuing your potential? Your dreams, taking actions that others may think foolish but in your heart, it’s what God is calling you to do?

The world may try to hinder your steps or place you in difficult impossible situations, but I want to encourage you today that whatever challenge impossible or not that is in front of you, God will always provide a way out for you in the presence of your challenge if you TRUST in HIM.

Today’s Challenge is to develop a habit of trusting God by casting your cares and praying daily, not to ask God for anything but to give thanks.

To develop an attitude of Gratitude.
